Drop shipping is a process of selling Products without having the need to to stock any of the product yourself.  This cuts down the need for expense such as warehousing and delivery from you to your warehouse..  Some of the suppliers/wholesalers who we deal with at Bay Trader may allow you to purchases items and will dropship them for you, however most suppliers will be selling in bulk and will be shipping the goods/product directly to your door.  Drop shipping is ideal for retailers who want to sell small amounts of multiple stock items. Obviously the negative side to drop shipping is that suppliers maybe out of stock, and you are in their hands for delivery schedules.  If you have your own stock you will have more control of shipment schedules etc..
